B.I.O. President attends, as the guest of honour, the International Symposium on Functioning of Coastal Ecosystems in Various Geographical Regions, organised by the Institute of Oceanography of Gdansk University. The meeting leads to an official proposal by the President of Gdansk University for exchange of scholars and cooperation with the I.U.B.E. an B.I.O.

B.I.O. receives proposals from several Polish universities for the inclusion of the "biopolitics" in their curricula.

The Polish UNA organises a Class Afloat youth cruise with a Biopolitics theme.

	Main session on Biopolitics at the Poland International Conference on the Environment.
	The Polish Architectural Society requests close collaboration with B.I.O. and submits proposal for city planning project in Wyoming under the name "Biopolis."

Biopolitics seminars are held in various cities in Poland and universities introduce Biopolitics and B.I.O. concepts in their curricula.
