Voting to Save the Environment and Bios
A New Vision for World Environment Day

5 June 2006

Can you hear the ticking clock?
With every tick of the clock, a form of life disappears forever. Bios – life – is in danger, and a new approach to solving environmental problems is essential and urgent. It is the goal of the Biopolitics International Organisation (B.I.O.), with friends and supporters in 130 countries worldwide, to provide a unified vision in environmental protection and the needed guidelines for the enrichment of sustainable development with bios promoting values.

Vote to save the environment
A global vote on saving the environment, with the participation of every person on the planet, can force world leaders to take environmental protection seriously. If you believe in the necessity of preserving bios, voice your support by joining in B.I.O.’s World Referendum today at www.biopolitics.gr/HTML/wref.htm

Education and e-learning – register now
Environmental education can help to turn environmental challenges into opportunities for a brighter future. B.I.O.’s extensive e-learning programme has placed a wealth of educational material and resources online to make environmental education accessible to every concerned citizen. The courses cover a multitude of topics including, architecture, technology, health, tourism, energy, economics, history, diplomacy, ethics, and legislation. Peace and defence for life
Bio-diplomacy – an international effort in defence of the environment – can improve quality of life and enhance efforts for peace. If profit is measured on the basis of our natural and cultural capital, rather than on the basis of monetary benefits alone, then we are all winners.
On this World Environment Day let us commit our thoughts to the joy of possessing life – bios. Let us commit our actions to protecting this most precious gift.
